We started Voliya with one frustration in mind: every Fijian shopper wastes time clicking through a dozen supermarket Facebook pages, trying to figure out where this week's chicken, rice or laundry powder is cheapest. Why isn't there one place that just shows you?
So that's what we built. Voliya is the place where every deal in Fiji lives. We pull weekly flyers from Prouds, MH, RB Patel, CJs, Extra Supermarket, Vinod Patel, Harrisons, Shop N Save and many more — index them by product — and let you compare prices side by side.
What this blog is
Each week, this is where we'll publish:
- Deals This Week — a curated roundup of the cheapest groceries, fashion, electronics, and homewares across Fijian supermarkets and retailers.
- Store Comparisons — when the same product shows up at five different stores, we'll show you who's selling it for what and which one is genuinely the best deal (not just the loudest sticker).
- Shopping Tips for Fiji — practical advice. How to read a flyer's "while stocks last" fine print. When to buy in bulk. Which stores honour their advertised price across all branches.
- Mother's Day, Diwali, Christmas — and every other seasonal moment. We'll surface the deals worth knowing about before everyone else does.
How we work
Every price you see on Voliya comes directly from a retailer's published flyer or social media post — we don't make anything up. When we say "$1.95 at CJs" we mean the price on the flyer they posted today. Our weekly roundups follow the same rule: if it's listed here, the deal is real.
We also believe shopping should feel less like research. So we built Voliya Reels — vertical, swipeable feeds of every active deal and flyer. If you've ever fallen into a TikTok hole, you can do the same thing here, except the rabbit hole leads you to your next grocery run.
What's next
The first proper Deals This Week roundup lands next Wednesday. Expect: the cheapest jasmine rice, full-cream milk, cooking oil, and toilet paper across every major Fiji supermarket — with side-by-side prices and a clear winner.
